Scene: The Badhman’s
“Seems strange that you are both together” said Eddie. Eddie stood as he was making the coffee for Max. “Just stranger things have happened” he regarded.
“I have passed caring” she added.
Max smiled at Hannah. “Causing trouble again Eddie” said Hannah to her brother. Gladys walks into the kitchen yawning. “Oh what a night, the bleeding party has kept me all night working and now I have to go in and make the cakes, are you ready Eddie?”
“Ready as I ever be” he said.
SCENE: THE HARRIS’S
“Mum you have to listen to me, something that I am going to say you but you have to keep under your belt” said Jasmine nervously.
“What is it?”
“I am going to leave Ken” she said sadly.
“Leave him! Why are you leaving him?” Jasmine twiddled her fingers nervously as she watched her mother’s disappointed look on her face.
“He has lied to me about many things and the many things he has lied about is Cody, Cody is not his mum!”
“Don’t be so absurd!” Marc walked into the room with a tray of coffee.
“Mum this is true, the man is Robert Carlisle he is the biological father of Cody” said Marc. He handed out the coffee.
“I am telling you the truth mum the boy belong to Hannah, Hannah had him adopted to ken and Cassandra” said Jasmine with a tear rolling down her eye.
“I married a liar mum” she began to cry; quickly Jean headed over and cradled her daughter.
SCENE: THE CLUB
“Something has to happen Mickey, I wouldn’t be asking you if I didn’t trust you” he said. “All this time!” He said. Mickey was in shock as Hannah just told Mickey the truth about Cody.
“The kid is your son!” She put her hand on his shoulder.
“That’s why I want him safe; the only people I can trust with him are Jasmine and Ken and back then Cassandra. You knew I could not be a mother and that’s why I think that we were good with one another” she said.
“Now he do anything to get him back, even hurting the people the boy loves” said Mickey.
“Whatever you can sort out Mickey do it fast” she kissed him gently on the lips.
SCENE: THE ROAD, SOMEWHERE
Jackson Robinson was driving his four by four alongside his wife Sarah and children Jason who was playing on his phone and Jess on her IPod. “We all okay back there?” Sarah, his wife turned around.
“There okay” she added.
“I think that this is a big mistake, isn’t it better than staying put where we are?” Jackson looked at his wife and shook his head. “Mum has assured me the business is picking up and she needs our help, now that she has been reinstated as Mayor’ said Jackson.
“Run to mother at a drop of a hat” she said.
“Just try to get on, will you for my sake” he said.
“I just hope that we don’t have to stay under one roof for long” she replied.
SCENE: THE ROBINSON’S
Ken, Hannah, Joyce and Mickey were all in front. Joyce shut the curtains and locked the door.
“Now that we are all here I just wanted to tell you something, this is going to end one way or another. This is going to happen. No ifs and no buts. Whatever happens will stay with us forever, do you get me?” Joyce looked at each of them.
“We got to now think of that boy and what it would do to him if he ever found out, this will kill him!” Joyce took out contracts from her briefcase. “I had these drawn up, these are legal and there are no loop holes or anything” said Joyce. “Read them, sign them” she said. She handed them to each of them. Mickey looked at Joyce and he knew what was coming. Mickey signed the papers and handed them back to Joyce. Not even looking at it, Joyce put it into her briefcase as did the others.
Hannah walked over to Joyce and surprisingly kissed her on the cheek, which she had never done before. Each of them walked out of the room.
SCENE: LATER IN THE CLUB
Hannah walked out to the back of the alley where she took out a cigarette. She tried lightning it. Next to her a light reached out to her. She looked and saw Robert in front of her. “Someone is turning 16 next week” said Robert. Hannah stood back. “Going to be one big party” he said. “NO, no light?” He reached the light towards her. “He is my son, he is your son” he said.
“Don’t taunt me Robert” said Hannah. “You stay way if you know what’s coming to you” she said.
“is that a threat?” Said Robert.
“It’s a warning” said Hannah back to him. Robert put the lighter away and began walking away. “Goodnight Hannah” said Robert.
