Adele meanwhile slowly woke to her fiancé stroking her back. She turned, smiled, and gave him a passionate kiss. “Merry Christmas” said Max. He quickly grabbed a little box from under the pillow. The box was wrapped. she smiled. “Max you got me a lot of things all ready” she smiled.
“Open it” he said. Max gave it to his girlfriend and she opened it. She smiled. A little red box and she opened that to. Inside was a diamond necklace. “Max this is gorgeous” she kissed him again. Max took it and wore it for her.
“Max” she kissed him again. However, as he was kissing her. The image from the night before was all he could think about. He was really kissing Adele but why was the image of Martha her sister still in his head.
SCENE: THE INN
“I had to let him go,” said Jack Palmer to Josie Mitchell as they were laying the table at the Inn. “But in the streets on Christmas day” said Josie.
“I have to think of the family that is all I care about,” said Jack.
SCENE: THE BADHMANS
“Merry Christmas” said Gladys she said as she brought in a tray of tea for everyone. “I am so glad you are all here,” said Gladys. She put the tray down as they all sat at the tree. “Where’s dad?” Asked Hannah.
“Well he should be here any minute he went somewhere and had to do something,” she said. “What on Christmas!” Said Lizzie. “Typical” she replied. The front door opened and in walked Graham with a suitcase and beside him was Chantal Jones their associate back in Manchester. “Surprise” said Graham. They all jumped up in joy. “When-“
“Last night” said Chantal. Chantal Jones began to hug everyone.
SCENE: THE ROBINSON’S
Martha put on her robe and looked at the dressing table. Nearby was a note on a table. She picked it up. Martha began to read.
“I’m so sorry to do this to you on Christmas Day I had to leave for a while to get my head around things. Especially with us. We need time apart and I need time apart from your overbearing family. Maybe your mother was right after all. We are no good for each other”
She was full of rage and threw most of the dressing table items to the floor. She raced downstairs as the music played in the background and everyone was opening presents. Martha walked over to Adele and smacked her around the face.
“Martha!” Shouted Jasmine.
“This is your entire fault,” she screamed at her sister. She threw the piece of paper in her hand.
“Ha guilty as charged!” Adele said as she read the letter. “Skipped town he has look everyone so we got enough evidence have we!” Martha went for her sister.
“Enough!” Shouted Joyce. “Mickey had his reasons to leave town but he shouldn’t have done it this way! You young lady should keep your opinions to yourself and not cause any trouble, especially not today!”
“She better take a look at herself as her fiancé is no angel!”
“Martha that’s enough!” Said Ken.
“What’s that supposed to mean at least he’s here and he loves me!” Martha rolled her eyes. “Take a good look at yourself! I’m surprised he is not getting it elsewhere!” Adele smacked Martha.
“For god sake” said Max. He grabbed Adele from Martha.

“Who could that be?” Asked Graham as he handed a glass of wine to Chantal. Hannah opened the door. “Mum” she called.
“Oh hello dear and merry Christmas, look at you” she said. Jocelyn Richards stood t the doorway with suitcases. “Well don’t just stand there darling let me through” Hannah helped her mother with the bags. “Mum!” Called Eddie.
