SUBURBAN WAYS: EPISODE 57
Joyce makes her speech for the election in the club as tempers flare between Martha and Mickey who orders a divorce from Chantal Jones. Carly is worried about Alex.
Scene: The Club
“Today I would like to talk about something, something that what is the most important thing to me, family.” She turned to see Jackson, Adele, Martha, Ken, Jasmine and Cody. The club was filled from the front to the back and most of Suburban Ways were there witnessing Joyce Robinson giving her speech against Graham Badhman for the race for Mayor in Suburban Ways. “We are like a family here and I would like to begin by saying that we need to support each other one hundred percent if we are going to work together as a community. There is need for a strong community here in this town, I know that we all pull together in crisis, I know what we could do”
Scene: The Badhamn’s
“I’m surprised you’re not over there now trying to sabotage, which you always seem to try and do!” Jocelyn Richards said to her wayward husband. Graham sat at his desk. “The children are there witnessing the puny speech. She is ridiculous” Jocelyn leaned over. “I’m serious I want my name on that company whether you like it or not my father got you where you wanted to be and I am not going to let some tramp take that away from me, do you understand!”
“You are so annoying Jocelyn,” snapped Graham. Chantal Jones knocked on the door as she was walking into the office. “Graham” Graham smiled as Jocelyn sneered at the woman who ruined their marriage. “What a sight for sore eyes” as he clasped his hands together. He got up, went over, and put his arm around her shoulder. He looked at Jocelyn. “Anything else?”
Jocelyn got up, brushed aside Chantal, and left the room.
“I just got a call from a new client. Now this would make you very interested” Graham was intrigued. “Go on” he said.
“Mickey Smith is filing for divorce against Martha.”
“Well I guess he cannot go to his family members for a divorce. What are your plans for him?”
“Taking the club off her hands is a starter and the car lot business, which is technically Ken’s and Jasmine’s but he has the record label and let’s say the car lot is not doing well at the moment. If I tell him to go ahead with the legal requirements I think our Mr Smith will be a very rich man” she said.
“As will we be” he kissed Chantal.

“Alex” said Carly as she walked over to his with a cup of coffee. “Are you all right? She looked at him as he sighed. He got up and left. Ronnie walked over and stood by him. “What’s wrong with him?”
“I don’t know but something is not right,” she said. Ronnie looked ahead as Alex stood outside.
Scene: The Club
“I will make sure that a centre is here for the community, the community will have a call on duty as of help from Father Dominic” Dominic smiled as he waved his hand. “We are here to listen and to make Suburban Ways the most loved community in its history” all of the club clapped. Joyce nodded and stepped down.
“Joyce that was wonderful” said Dominic.
“I just hoped it worked” said Joyce.
Chantal Jones walked into the club and walked over to Martha.
“Hello Martha” she shook her head.
“What do you want?” Chantal put an envelope in her hands.
“Your husband Mr Smith wants a divorce. Hope you find a decent lawyer. I know he has” she smiled and walked off.
Jackson walked over. “He is not getting a penny” said Jackson.
