Margaret McKenna came in with a handful of post. “This gets bigger everyday” she said and put it down onto the table. “Oh Jasmine, this one is for you” she said and handed it to her. She could not believe what she was reading. “Got to be a hoax,” she said. She tore it up and there it into the dustbin.

He shook his head and carried on with his work.

“Oh I realise what day is coming in two weeks or so after the wedding” exclaimed Joyce. “What is it?”
Terrance said looking over some files. “Cody’s birthday” she said. “He’s going to be 16” she smiled.
“All ready, my word time flies, hey well I think we have to celebrate his birthday don’t you think?” She nodded.
Scene: The Inn
The family come to sit at the table before opening time. Josie placed the files on the table with Jackson Robinson standing by her. “Right here it is, we have a buyer, well a secret buyer. We not even seen he or she” they looked at each other.
“Is that wise?” Suzanne asked.
“We need to sign on the dotted line,” said Arthur. “Then we can go ahead with the proceedings.” She looked at Arthur, Arthur nodded and she opened the papers. Each of the family read through and each signed on the line, which they were meant to sign on.
Arthur handed them to Jackson. “There” he said.
“The Inn is no longer ours” they looked around. “By the time the wedding has finished we will be gone and the new owners will take their place,” said Arthur hugging Josie.

This time she read it again.
