EPISODE 119
Ronnie has shock news for Max and Hannah makes a decision regarding their future.
SCENE: THE CLUB
Hannah Bahman and Max Burns could hear loud music coming through the speakers as their DJ played the music for the night ahead. Strobe lights flickered and people danced in the middle of the dance floor.
Outside a car pulled up and Ronnie Mitchell stepped out of the car. The red haired woman gave her keys to the bouncer and walked passed the crowded people that were waiting to get in. Ronnie showed her pass to the bouncer and he let her through the door as the other people who were lining up still waiting to get into the club..
Ronnie strode through the corridor as he gave her long velvet jacket to the girl at the desk and headed straight into the noisy club, somewhere she had not been for a very long time.
The nightclub was buzzing as she saw men and women dancing the night away, boozing, laughing, couples grinding, kissing and hands holding on the dance floor.
“Max” she called as he was talking to one of the local executive out for a drink with one of his friends. “Ronnie” he gestured for an embrace and she came towards him. He shook the man’s hand and took Ronnie to one side.
“I need to see you urgently Max” she replied to him. He nodded and took her to the upstairs office that was overlooking the club. He opened the drinks cabinet.
“Drink?”
“No thank you, Max I can’t stay long here but I need to tell you,” she said nervously. Max poured himself a glass of whisky. The strong smell filtered the room making Ronnie heave. “What seems to be the problem? You came all the way here yet you couldn’t tell me in front of Hannah” he said.
“It’s Amanda” he remembered his old flame Amanda Jones from the hotel he once worked in. “She had a baby over a few years ago, Amanda was run over in a car accident” his hand began to shake as his face saddened.
“Amanda’s dead Max, the name on the birth certificate belongs to you!”
SCENE: THE BADHMAN’S
“Mickey is the new owner of the Lodge!” Lizzie rolled her eyes over the fact her ex brother in law to be that was the owner of the Lodge and he has a wife.
“It’s so much to take in” she added.
Hannah and Lizzie curled up on the sofa with a glass of wine and the fire roared as the winter night drew in.
“I mean that part of my life was over when he decided to leave town for good but he’s back!”
Lizzie frowned at her sister as she took a sip through the wine. “You’re not thinking of going back there again. You’re with Max now”
“I know, I want to settle now but Ronnie is back here to. I have no idea why” she replied nervously. “Maybe a visit” she said.
“She has no family Lizzie,” she added.
SCENE: THE NIGHT CLUB
“The baby is a girl,” Ronnie answered. She took out a photo.
“This is a joke, how could the baby be mine as she was with Calvin as well!”
“NO, she did a test with Calvin. You could ask him yourself” as she took out the phone from her pocket.
Max shook his head and turned to one side. “I already have a son!”
“Now you got a daughter,” she replied. “A daughter who needs her father!”
