SUBURBAN WAYS: EPISODE 45
Martha taunts Max. Mickey sees Hannah and Jack and Suzanne receive a visitor.
Scene: The Cafe
Mickey Smith walks into the cafe and looks around as a number of people were sitting having a coffee or a sandwich, he noticed Gladys King at the counter chattering and giggling with the customers and keeping quiet in the corner was Hannah Badhman. Mickey walks over to her and sits down. “I do not want to be disturbed,” said Hannah to Mickey. “Tough” he looked at her. Gladys was on the other side watching closely. “I told you I’m keeping my head down” she added.
“Well I think we got a business to run don’t you think?”
“Max is taking the business side of things, just think of me as a silent partner” he grabbed her wrist.
“I don’t think so Hannah, you need to get back into the race before everything goes under. Max thinks he is the golden boy of the family.” She glared at him.
“Have you got competition now?” He puffed a bit of air.
“Competition, I can take him!” She laughed.
“All I can say watch your back Mickey with Max” she said.
“So why did you ask him to take over?”
“Ask your wife!” She said.
Scene: The Club
Martha Robinson fell into Max’s arms embracing his muscular body around her. She felt the touch of his aftershave on her as she reached in for a passionate kiss. He stopped. He pulled away. “What is wrong?”
“I’m getting married” he called. “Yet I am here with you” he said. “It takes two to tango,” she added.
“Why me?” She massaged his shoulders.
“Your different, powerful, masculine and –“
“Don’t I am getting married” he said.
“Yeah like you’re a family man,” she said sniggering.
“Well at least I am not striving for attention, consider this over Martha!”
Max looked at her disgustingly and left the room.
“Not over Maxwell Burns, definitely not over!”
Scene: THE INN
Steve Palmer was rushing around collecting glasses and bottles as well as Carly Palmer his sister was helping. “It’s not that I don’t want to help it’s the fact I got so much paper work to get on with” she added annoyingly. “All right it’s only for an hour until Arthur and Josie gets back from the travel agents!”
“Okay and mum and dad, where are THEY?” She asked.
Scene: A SHOPPING CITY SOMEWHERE IN TOWN
Many people were coming and going hurdling bags back and forth. Suzanne decided to do a bit of shopping as Jack followed her as a little puppy. “Come on he should be here by now!” Jack was looking at his watch. A male figure was walking towards them as he held a photo in his hand. He stood still and began shaking. Suzanne grabbed her husband’s arm. “Hello” said Suzanne.
“Mrs Palmer, Mr Palmer” he said.
“My name is Kelvin Stewart,” he said.
