SUBURBAN WAYS
EPISODE 62
Margaret calls for a family meeting.
Scene: The Inn
“I am going upstairs,” said Alex. “I need to think” he looked away and ran up the stairs. “I go” called Carly, she ran after him. Carly walked into his room and shut the door behind him. “Stop acting like a child and grow up!”
“You know nothing about me and my family!” Carly sat down at the edge of the bed. “Well start letting us in,” she suggested. “That’s the only way you need to be open about all of this why and where and how did you come about finding us. Because we are having to deal with all of this too” she shouted.
“Why is it everything is going wrong?”
“That’s the way and you got to deal with it and by coming up and here sulking isn’t going to do you any good!” Carly stormed out.
Josie stood outside by the door and stopped Carly.
“Do you think you made a breakthrough?”
“I hope so frankly I want this mess over and done with its tearing us all apart!” She went back downstairs.
Scene: The Robinson’s
Martha, Mickey, Adele, Max, Jackson, Ken, Jasmine and Margaret all sat down at the table. “What’s going on Aunt Margaret?” Ken asked. Margaret looked at her nieces and nephews. “Your mum is in France but the vice chancellor she met in France turned out to be Stefano Pieraa!” Mickey slammed his hand down the table. “Damn that man!”
“Who’s he?” Jasmine asked.
“A nut who ruined my sisters life” he said.
“Put her in jail for a crime she did not commit!” Martha said.
“Thanks” said Mickey.
“Well it’s going to come out sooner or later” she said.
“Yes but that’s not all. His partner or companion or whatever is Victoria Heatherfield” she said.
“Great” added Adele. “The woman who had an affair with Cousin Robert and ruined his marriage to Liz. Her mum married Uncle Terrance” she nodded.
“Then the accident happened. Mum and her were in the car. Her mum died” said Adele.
“Doing some research whilst your back and catching up” said Martha.
“Martha!” Margaret added.
“Well you don’t go by knowing so little to knowing so much”
“Stop” called out Jasmine.
“So what now?” Jackson asked.
“Now we just have to wait and see what is going on over there and if there is going to be a link between there and here and if there is then we are on guard. Because if Mum wins the election we be seeing a lot more of Mr Pierra and be careful to you all with Victoria.”
