“Oh well look what the cat dragged in,” said Gladys. “Don’t you dare take that tone me with me lovey or you be damned well be out of this café before you could even say goodledigoop” she demanded.

“Eddie” she called over to her nephew. “Your mother and I need a chat!”
Scene: The Hotel
Max Burns walks over to the desk. He did not think he be seeing the Hotel again but thinking he quite likes the idea of being back. Terrance knocked on the door. “Ah I thought I find you here in the background”
“Having some quiet time,” he said as he looks through some files. “You been keeping some old files” said Max as he pointed to the name Tizzy Palmer. “Ah yes, just in case she might come back. I think her acting career is taking off” he said.
He leant across the desk. “A word in your ear. I think that you should see Adele,” said Terrance. “Ah no” said Max.
“Look what past is past and she is grieving like you would not believe and you should know that just because you were with Martha you are grieving to,” said Terrance.
“Do the right thing,” said Terrance. “She was your fiancée,” he said putting his hand on his shoulder.
Scene: The Café
“I don’t believe this, this is insane. So he got this bunny boiler. I knew she was trouble from the start. Framing some poor boy who now has his life ruined by this,” replied Jocelyn.
“I knew you were loving this Jocelyn” she rubbed her forehead. So now the Palmer family are leaving too,” she said.
“As you can see it’s going well here and that poor girl, my heart goes out to her family. She had a relapse,” said Jocelyn.
“I better see Joyce,” she said to Gladys with a sigh.
“You’re going to stick around then for the funeral I bet,” she added.
“Of course I am, I am not that dishearten” said Jocelyn angrily.
Scene: The Robinson’s
Adele Robinson opened the door. “Max!” He stood there not knowing what to say.
“I, I,” she shook her head and stood to one side.
“Come in” she said softly. Max walked inside. She shut the door. He clasped his hands around her.
“What happened?” She asked him.
“Don’t say a word,” he said.
Scene: The Inn
The Inn was busy with punters coming in and out and Josie and Arthur were happy to see them going around their daily routine. Josie saw Joyce from afar. “What she doing here?”
“Go and see her,” said Arthur. “I carry on here,” he added.
Josie smiled and walked across the bar and held Joyce’s arms. .
“You should be at home,” she said.
“I can’t sit around doing nothing, while this is all going on,” said Joyce.
“You need to be with your family. They need you and you need them,” she said.
“I don’t know anymore, Cassandra, Cliff and now Martha,” she said.
“Come on let’s get you some coffee” she said.
